Tuskegee ranks No. 5 in nation, No. 1 in Alabama among HBCUs by U.S. News and World Report 

Tuskegee University was recently ranked the No. 5 HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) in the nation and No. 1 in the state of Alabama by U.S. News and World Report. The institution elevated to the No. 5 spot from No. 6 and maintained its top ranking in the state.
