Tuskegee University Athletics has officially released its 2026 football schedule, with a roster of student-athletes poised to dominate in one of the most exciting seasons in program history.
The 2026 slate features five Classic games, historic SIAC rivalries, the return of the Light It Up 2.0 Game, Homecoming 102 and the historic Turkey Day Classic against Alabama State University.
“In our Renaissance Era, the 2026 football schedule reflects Tuskegee’s bold vision to continue elevating our athletics program,” said Dr. Mark A. Brown, president and CEO. “We continue to invest in every aspect of our student-athlete experience so that the Golden Tigers can excel on the field and in the classroom.”
With five Classics, a powerful home schedule and reach to national audiences, the 2026 season is set to energize alumni, students and fans, strengthen recruiting and extend Tuskegee’s championship legacy.

Aug. 30 – Red Tails Classic vs. University of West Alabama (Montgomery)
Sept. 5 – Port City Classic vs. Fort Valley State (Mobile, Alabama)
Sept. 19 – W.C. Gorden Classic vs. Jackson State (Jackson, Mississippi)
Sept. 26 – Light It Up 2.0 vs. Benedict College (Tuskegee)
Oct. 3 – Tuskegee-Morehouse Classic (Montgomery)
Nov. 7 – Homecoming 102 vs. Miles College (Tuskegee)
Nov. 26 – Turkey Day Classic at Alabama State University (Montgomery)
